Epping Forest MP congratulates local Microsoft Apprentice of the Year candidate

“Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing has praised the work of a constituent who was a candidate for the title Microsoft’s Apprentice of the Year.

The awards recognise the hard work and excellence of the thousands of Microsoft-backed apprentices, as well as the effort and support provided by medium sized businesses who deliver the apprenticeship schemes.”

Kieren Simmons was nominated by one of Microsoft’s partners, Sam Kane Ltd, the husband of Waltham Abbey councillor Helen Kane.

Microsoft is delighted to recognise and celebrate Kieran Simmons’ dedication and hard work, as well as the effort and support provided by Integrations Ltd who delivered this apprentice scheme. A spokesman said: “We recognise the important role that businesses like Microsoft can play in helping young people secure the skills they need to prosper and help the British economy grow. That is why we developed the Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship, as part of the Britain Works programme, to help young people gain IT skills and employment.”
