BBC News finally broadcasts to Android

BBC News finally broadcasts to Android tablets with dedicated app
“The BBC has updated its popular News app to play nice with Android tablets that are 7.2in and above, running Android Honeycomb and the delectable Ice Cream Sandwich.
The BBC’s News app has been available on Android since May of last year, but users were limited to smartphone use only. So until now, users wanting to get a slice of news on their Android tabs would have to settle for a visually unappealing upscaled version.
Now, if you’re rocking Samsung’s Galaxy Tab10.1, Motorola’s Xoom 2 or a device from the Asus’ Transformer family, for example, you can finally have the full tablet-optimised BBC News app experience.
The app works over both 3G and Wi-Fi, although there isn’t any BBC News live action just yet – this feature is due to arrive at a later date, alongside a bunch of homescreen widgets.”
